I haven’t seen a study about male-specific loneliness so far. The same applies to female-specific loneliness. The patterns look rather similar.
It’s not really related to sex. Studies have shown that men and women are affected equally. Some political groups try to turn this into a men’s issue to “prove” something. Other political groups want to silence everyone talking about men’s issues (real or fictional). It’s a pointless clusterfuck.
It’s the same as with fictional horror. It gives you a sense of control. You can play and you can stop at any time.
If you take your megaphone and pro-Palestine banners to a graveyard to do your little whataboutism virtue signaling show, then people will not only think you’re lacking any decency, they’ll think you’re an asshole. And they would be right. What comes next? Pro-Palestine rallies at graveyards for black slaves? Homeless shelters? Abortion clinics?

Outdourcing helps me to some degree. Putting the depression into music, that kind of thing. Not a cure by any means but it helps me to gain a different perspective and fight anhedonia. It’s important to keep moving, to keep the momentum. Because momentum will make you take a shower and eat.

Palestine activists are hurting the cause if they can’t even show basic decency at a concentration camp. The people who died there have nothing to do with what is going on now in Gaza.

Therapy is (at best) nothing more than having a person sitting in front of you who repeats what you’re saying. This can be helpful for certain patients with mild problems. Patients who have trouble with connecting with themselves. That’s about it. At worst, therapy can make problems a lot more serious or even add new ones.
Go on, keep spitting in my face. I’m used to my problems not existing for other people including therapists. I know the drill by now.

That’s the point. Therapists don’t help. At best they do nothing, at worst they insult you.

They can’t. They’re suffering from plenty of problems - body dysmorphic disorders, PTSD, OCD, personality disorders. They would need a lot of help. But who’s going to help them? Nobody because they’re rejected by everyone ouside of their peer group, for good reasons. And this keeps them in a loop.
