        I got plantar fasciitis last November so I’m really looking forward to and dreading it all the same. My mile time is shot though

          That sounds not fun at all. I really enjoy running but gave up on it after too many injuries, never got to 10k. It’s an awesome milestone, hope you manage to complete it safely!

          Is this 10k you getting back into running after the fasciitis, or getting into running for the first time?

          Either way, good luck! Hope it goes well!

          I was training for a marathon when I crashed in a bike race, 4 months before the marathon. And then had to take a month off of running, getting back into it 3 months out. Certainly not ideal, but good to have a goal to help with the motivation coming back from injury.

            It’s getting me back into running, but it’ll still be my first 10k race. Hope the marathon went well!

    Me when I’ve agreed to go to a party at my wife’s friend’s house. It’s always fun as hell, but by the time Saturday night rolls around I just want to sit and drink beer. So I agree ahead of time, dread it, have a blast, rinse and repeat.

    Not as antisocial as some of you fuckers, but after I finally gained a modicum of popularity in college, fuck me I got sick of going out, fast. LOL, motherfuckers would be climbing in the windows. “What’s up man? You didn’t answer your door!”
