They’re only ashamed when their team doesn’t win. Every bad thing they did was totally valid because again, it was their team.

It’s called “American values” where the only thing that matters is winning and crimes against humanity don’t matter.

how through history, grandiose and gilded decor and architecture has been used to manipulate, convince and enthrall the masses.

Even to this day, we have Wehraboos. If I am a historian and with plenty of time to research and make takedown videos on Nazism, which unfortunately i don’t have at the moment, I want to make videos on dispelling the myth of Nazi superiority and how they are given way too much credit.

Plenty of people do not realise that the Nazis are not different to third world dictatorships. Similar to Trump having a fight with Federal Reserve director, Jerome Powell, Hitler didn’t want to listen to his economic minister, Hjalmar Schacht, that Germany’s excessive government spending is going to bankrupt the country. It was in late 1930s that Germany’s coffers was running out, and it was not a coincidence that Hitler invaded Poland and, to his own surprise, the Allies declared war. Hitler was trying to plunder the wealth of Poland to stave off another economic collapse, like how the previous annexations of Sudetenland and Austria gave them financial cash injection to go a little further.

Fact of the matter is that Hitler and the Nazis were lucky to have inherited strong institutions, namely the Prussian military culture, to have lasted longer than expected. All things considered, the Nazis were merely poor gamblers whose bluffs were eventually called out and ran out of cards. The Nazis were just winging it (I mean, he did not expect the Allies to declare war on him, and he admitted that the planned invasion of France through the Ardennes forest turns his stomach), which is not too different to other tyrants and dictators like Nero, Idi Amin and Muammar Ghadaffi who make decisions on emotions.

People of various inclinations should just stop giving too much credit to the Nazis. I suspect that the current right, with their mountains of cash support from oligarchs, possess the machinery to perpetuate the propaganda to re-normalise fascism. Nonetheless, the Nazis are inherently weak and incompetent. People say that the Thousand Year Reich may well have happened if they won, but objectively they will run out of money in ten years even if they conquered the entire world, because they are that corrupt and incompetent.

This is why I’m convinced he will truly invade Canada and possibly Greenland. His economy is already fucked, and Canada has too many resources to leave alone.

Yeah. I know that the “Eagle Displayed” heraldry has been on the American coat of arms since before it became associated with the Nazis, but it’s still a little sinister how they seem to be leaning into it as a motif a lot more this year.

It’s the ultimate in bulletproof dogwhistles, because literally nobody can judge you for waving an American eagle around, and yet somehow it seems disproportionately popular amongst Neo Nazis…

If you are intelligent you wouldn’t need to talk about it because, people would know it from your thoughts and actions.

If you are a good leader you wouldn’t need to talk about it because there would be more people following you than protesting you.

If you are good at making deals you wouldn’t need to talk about it because you’d have a stack of deals to prove it.

If you are good at business you wouldn’t need to talk about it because you would have a lot more successful companies than bankrupt companies in your history.

    Etc etc etc.

This smacks of “look how well things are going !! If things were going badly would we be able to afford all this gold?”

Beware the man who is eager to tell you how good they are at something.

I know people that like Trump in the UK and the thing I’ve realised is people don’t check anything, if orange man says something they believe it.

When I’ve been shitting on Trump my friend said yeah but he’s a good business man though and I’m like no he isn’t, he started life on easy mode and has messed that up several times. Hell man can’t even profit from a casino.

Sadly though it doesn’t matter if people are willing to believe a 5 second sound bite and it takes 5 minutes and some knowledge to debunk that claim then it’s futile as they’ll just put out more sound bites.

I find it ironic that in a world with a wealth of information at our finger tips people just don’t care enough to check. I’m not a smart man, but I was gifted with the power of curiosity and a willingness to look up stuff and find the truth. People are just ignorant on the whole and only care about surface level stuff.

You will never get a working class president if change doesn’t happen locally first. Young people don’t vote in local elections and young people don’t put themselves on the ballot of local elections. It’s why actual change at the top will never happen. You can’t expect the average Joe, who isn’t very politically engaged, to vote for a socialist president if they have never experienced what a socialist politician can do for them. That experience needs to happen at the local level. The US needs more Mamdani’s across the entire country and not just in New York.

The reason why Dump is president and co-opted the GOP is because the Tea Party started winning local elections first and pushing out Republican incumbent. They created the momentum so a moron like Drumpf could win a presidential primary.

And they didn’t just do it in political elections even non political elections like school board elections etc. were captured by the Tea Party.

The left needs to copy the Tea Party playbook.

Electing a working class president won’t fix this. The system needs to be abolished.

We need to learn to build our own, parallel system of people’s bottom-up power.

To be fair, they said “a form of” taste. Which I think is a significant distinction.

Cuz like, the Nazis definitely had a very strong aesthetic. Not exactly “tasteful”. But I can see calling it “a form of taste”.

Have you seen the costumes of the SS? The German tanks? The epic bunker, mountain mansion and cars of Hitler? Have you seen the palaces of Nicolae Ceaușescu, Putin, Sadam Hussain, Gaddafi, Kim Yong Un? They were/are fucking evil but they did/do have style.

It looks like Trump wants the same but ordered everything from Aliexpress.
