Is this about the grant to politico on researching “social engineering”? You know social engineering sounds scary, but it’s not about engineering a society. It’s a term used in security for decades to describe things like phishing and gaining physical entry using people… Socially. It sounds super scary to someone outside the field I bet.

I teach CS at the freshman level. I don’t use a Mac, but I had to spend ten minutes over zoom teaching the basic functions to a student who didn’t know where the notepad equivalent was.
That guaranteed meal break should be extended, not rolled back. After 4 hours every worker should have a 30 minute break to eat. It’s not just humane, it’s common sense that fed people work better. Even if you exclude the 30 minutes from their hours, which I bet was already what was going on.

When blue peacock was declassified everyone thought it was an April fools joke. The British agency assured the people that they “do not joke”. Some things (particularly the things government involves itself with) should not be joked about by some people. The joke becomes sick. A king “joking” about cutting hands off is not funny for example.
