To keep the peace it’s all or nothing. Nobody has weapons or everybody has weapons. Since the former is pretty hard to achieve, the latter must happen.
Perhaps my line of thinking is way too anarchist. But what I’m saying is once the cat is out of the bag, there’s no putting it back in. People who want guns can get guns. They can get their friends to legally purchase them. All the school shooters had legal firearms so I would imagine a terrorist could obtain one.
School shooters don’t always have legal guns, if you shoot your mom and steal her rifle for example, you didn’t legally acquire it even if she did. (Sandy Hook). Or if you get your friend to straw purchase you a bunch of guns you can’t legally buy, that’s illegal because straw purchasing is illegal (Columbine). There’s more examples but that’s just off the dome, I’m not a human google machine after all.
That said, yeah of course a terrorist can obtain one, legally or otherwise. They can either have a clean background themselves, or if not then have friends with clean backgrounds illegally straw purchase for them, or 3d print them like Luigi (now y’all gonna believe they work? Luigi’s problem was the can without a neilson, not the print.), hell in the Khyber Pass they mill beautiful guns with hand tools, in the jungles of the Philippines they do the same just with less engraving, people can make some shit.

Does everybody include convicted serial killers?
Especially them. I don’t feel safe around the police without a serial killer in my vicinity.
Technically, there are police officers who qualify as serial killers.
I think it’s three or more separate killings nets you basic serial killer status. There are officers who easily meet that criteria.
