I mean, it kinda is to me, the base meme image isn’t of them being in space or doing any of the “tourism” parts, but of them being “so grateful to be on the ground” because they couldn’t “handle it”
Pics are one thing, but, as a human, if I’m caught with crow tech it’ll violate the Crow-Human Treaty of 2002 and the US will have no choice but to extradite me for trial in Crowlandia otherwise it risks sparking another war.
Have you been to Crow prison? I’d rather go to the Gulag or a CIA blacksite tyvm.
Robotic crow arm, crow technology is quite advanced
Well maybe if you weren’t here on Lemmy you could achieve your goal, now it is 45%

Thus far, all the Linux phones I’ve seen had laughable specs. There’s the Liberux NEXX, but it’s still at the concept stage

Damn kids these days, thinking they’re invincible and shit and don’t need the IKEA Safety String™ or the IKEA buddy system
THIS is what happens when you don’t listen to basic safety lectures
If you don’t want to keep it that’s fine, but if you have any recordings of commercial media (like say VHS tape recordings of broadcast TV) it would be of major help and contribution if you at least go through what you have and see if any of it is !lostmedia@lemmy.world

You’d be surprised at the things people are looking for, from old TV ads to TV channel interstitials and Bumpers to TV show episodes that aired once and was pulled, lost and never shown again

Real talk, if you want the actual data recovery perspective
If your system is on an SSD, first thing is you’ve got about 10 minutes (or less) to shutdown and use a recovery program before TRIM comes and irrecoverably deletes it. (Not applicable to all systems, some have slower TRIM timing, some faster, some instant and some not enabled at all (Sounds preposterous now, but it was an issue for a hot minute, so old systems might still be affected))
If HDD, just don’t start writing to disk a bunch of shit and you can grab a cup of coffee before shutting down
From there, you need to remove the disk and have an adapter for it to USB or another system DURING ANY DATA RECOVERY, ALWAYS WORK FROM AN IMAGE, NOT THE DRIVE ITSELF (Especially for “iffy” drives (If you know that it is damaged in some way, or you just can’t afford it and won’t soon, please get with a professional service. With data recovery from potentially damaged drives, you might get one shot to get a good image and it’s done for).
Once you have your image, there’s a bunch of different recovery software you can use. My personal favorite and go-to is R-Studio. It’s well worth the $50, but you can sail the high seas for it as well. But you’ll need to take some time to get used to it, it’s not…the most user friendly out there lmao.
If you need something user friendly, try Recuva or Disk Drill. Just do NOT waste your money with shovelware like anything made by Wondershare.
