Although old people with open minds (and deep purses) do often have a blast. Trying new things all the time, having tine to tinker with it. And as vamp, you will still be able to learn at nornal speed.

Plus, I’m sure I can find an ethical means to source blood, so the primary downsides are never going out during the day (I already can’t much of the year) and possibly getting killed by a vampire hunter (I’m already going to die anyways lol).
