Let us now see if this attack on a sovereign country, Iran, by another country, US, draws ire from EU.

Yep. The only question is why we’re not doing the same to Russia.

You immediately know the answer to that question, don’t you? And so now you know why Iran needed to be attacked.

Please, everyone who supported the “ReArm Europe” initiative with the 800bn€ yearly to military: THIS IS WHAT SUCH WEAPONS WILL BE USED FOR. They tell you they’re to “fight the evil dictators”, but they’re used to bomb the people standing against Israel and Europe. Europe is a genocide-supporting empire and we should all take a pacifist stance to prevent further stuff like this. Today it’s Trump, tomorrow it’s Meloni/LePen/Orban.

You seriously aren’t worried what kind of lobbying Rheinmetall will be able to do with the juicy billions flowing from your pockets to their bank accounts? You’re not worried what will happen if the Donald Trumps of Europe get access to years of billions of expenditure in weapons? Ffs Europe jumped at the occasion of bombing Libya and Yugoslavia and invading Iraq, what makes you think they won’t be doing the same?

Sorry, what? The EU is arming Israel. What do you think Israel’s been doing with those weapons?

Europe isn’t currently bombing anyone, but it was happy to join the bombing of Yugoslavia, Libya and the invasion of Iraq. In 5 years it will be the Melonis and LePens (and Rheinmetalls) of Europe deciding what to do with the arsenals created in times of social-democracy

the bombing of Yugoslavia, Libya and the invasion of Iraq.

Those three aren’t remotely close to the same thing.

The bombing of yugoslavia was a UN authorized intervention against warcriminals killing civilians.

The bombing of Libya was a UN authorized intervention against a warcriminals killing civilians.

The invasion of Iraq (depending on which one) was a horrible farce led by the US to distract people from internal issues.

It’s not overcorrection, they simply learned the wrong lesson from WW2: “Don’t mess with the Jewish” instead of “Don’t be pro genocide.” It’s also been a long time since then and the consequences they suffered.

Could be true. I think those are similar things. From doing whatever you want to a group, to letting a group do whatever they want to others. I feel like that’d fit on a horseshoe shaped object?

I dont get how, as europe, we still insist to follow every fucking step of that travesty of a country that is the united states. We have the resources to do everything on our own terms and we still do this blatant fucking ass licking of a warmongering bastard and his little fucking friends like israel.

We dont have the balls to stand up for anything even its blatant violation of international law, of which we pretend to be the biggest defenders. Yeah israel is aleays right and yet again another western violation of sovereignity is justified because iran has nuclear (which israel has since decades) but they would use it bad not like us, good and morally stable.

Russia wants to wipe Ukraine of the map. Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map. Trump wants to wipe Canada and Greenland from the map. Xi wants to wipe Taiwan off the map.

Maybe we should just hide the maps from these authoritarian assholes? They keep looking at maps and bad things keep happening.

I don’t fully agree that Israel Iran is violating international law. When a country’s existence is being questioned by Iran or Hamas Israel or the US, it’s not so easy to respond strictly within the framework of international law

    Who struck first?

Ah but of course, PoC don’t get to have security concerns, do they?
