Hey is it ok for me to say we should run over ICE with our cars yet?

Maybe stop banning people for that in the middle of a civil war

You got banned from here for that?

I literally left Reddit after they temporarily banned my account for writing that Trump’s trial will be televised just like Saddam’s.

Why do we only control the speech of leftists?

Because other than obvious hate-speech, leftists are the ones who actually practice freedom of speech while the right screams and yells and bans books.

When driving over ice, don’t hit the brakes. You might lose traction. Just hold the steering wheel steady, and keep moving.

It’s a lot easier to get away with killing people if you use a car. They might even blame the victim (or recently, their parents).

Most fucked up part? Chile is the whitest South American country. There was an old statistic from the mid 2000s that put Chile at 95% white European heritage people.

The only way it would get more fucked is if they deported Spaniards from Spain to El Salvador…

Do not visit the USA. Just don’t. Spend your money elsewhere for your sake and for our sake. It’s no good to anybody for you to spend it here right now.

Go visit Canada. Nice people, beautiful country this time of year. And they won’t disappear you.

Nothing short of violent revolution will change anything in the states at this point. The courts are powerless, and the entire political system is rotten to the core.

Nope. The rulings coming out of the Federal courts (more often than not from Trump appointed judges) are unambiguous and the execute branch is largely complying with them once a ruling is handed down.

They are executing all many of extremely edge cases to try and circumvent the law (the whole dismiss-and-arrest thing happening at immigration courts - which are NOT full courthouses, btw), but don’t think for one second the Judges and attorneys working on these cases aren’t aware of what’s going on.

And the reason the US public is treated so badly by their government is almost any other country would have strung their politicians up by now.

Does it bother you that people question your motives and the veracity of your criticisms when you try to hide yourself from like inspection?

Your country is also very likely a devolving shithole with a sordid past.

Idk if you’re genuinely stupid or just trying to get people hurt, but fyi speaking openly about violently resisting an oppressive government on unsecure channels is a bad idea for what I would have thought would be obvious reasons. Also seems like you’re sarcastically implying that we’re not at a point where violent resistance is a reasonable response, in case you haven’t bothered watching the news recently a whole lot of people in LA would disagree with that, and there’s a shitload of video

a whole lot of people in LA would disagree with that, and there’s a shitload of video

They were mostly peaceful. And when I say most, I mean like 99%. They know how to do it.

Also, this is what most of you are doing in this thread at me.

Once we isolate key people, we look for people we know are in their upstream – people that they read posts from, but who themselves are less influential. (This uses the same social media graph built before.) We then either start flame wars with bots to derail the conversations that are influencing influential people (think nonsense reddit posts about conspiracies that sound like Markov chains of nonsense other people have said), or else send off specific tasks for sockpuppets (changing this wording of an idea here; cause an ideological split there; etc).

The goal is to keep opinions we don’t want fragmented and from coalescing in to a single voice for long enough that the memes we do want can, at which points they’ve gotten a head start on going viral and tend to capture a larger-than-otherwise share of media attention.

(All of the stuff above is basically the “standard” for online PR (usually farmed out to an LLC with a generic name working for the marketing firm contracted by the big firm; deniability is a word frequently said), once you’re above a certain size.)

I blame the parent. Nobody with the resources necessary for an international vacation has any excuse for being ignorant of the current political state of the US, our government is actively targeting visibly hispanic people regardless of legality and has not been quiet about it. Even if their trip had gone smoothly every dollar they spent here would be indirectly supporting the shit our government is doing. The child had no choice in the matter, the parent was a fucking moron who volunteered their child for a completely avoidable traumatic experience and helped fund Trump’s crimes in the deal.

It shouldn’t be, the evidence has been plentiful and easily available. It’s not particularly crazy either, evil for sure but entirely in line with the interests of our ruling class and extremely historically precedented. Some folks just have to learn the hard way I guess.

Movie studios are frequently run by morons, anyone who isn’t completely politically & historically illiterate could tell you it’s not far-fetched at all, and this person had the money for an international vacation so they’re definitely not representative of the average anyway

I think you’re underestimating the normalcy bias and overestimating how much the average person outside the US understands about what’s going on there.
