I think that a lot of the “laziness” comes from alienation from your labour. People are going to work the least amount to get their paycheck and if their job doesn’t account for the effort they put in, they aren’t going to do anything but the bare minimum.
Free as in freedom (in your own home) and open source as in you open the source of water coming in.
I know that Bitwarden is headquartered in California, but they do have Bitwarden.eu, which I would think is operating inside the EU?

I didn’t pay for Google services, but used the Play Store for buying PowerAmp, which I just pirated after de-googleing.
Windows device
Is that what computers are being called now? A Windows device?
“Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021” should be getting 10 years of updates, so until 2031.
Don’t know the answer, but I think she uses “she/her” pronouns now.
I recommend windows when people say they don’t want to put any time into learning a new os.
Only if they’ve used Windows before, otherwise (IMO) Linux would be easier to learn when just starting out.
