Yeah, also I don’t know if they are biologists/foresters but hopefully they use native or at least compatible seeds for the areas. There are lots of grass types which can become invasive and destroy habitat for the local wildlife if they use the wrong species.

Where I live we just use helicopters, and mostly only because it’s mountainous so we want to establish the grass back as quickly as possible before the rain hits and washes all the soil away into the rivers.

And no one has to work, they are provided with everything they need. Almost like a universal basic income or something.

Never really made sense to me, loose all the arrows at once and then give a break between volleys? Gives everyone a chance to hide behind their shield, and then advance when it’s clear. Unless volleys are perfectly timed between multiple rows of archers.

Random arrows flying constantly never gives the enemy a chance to feel safe since it’s a constant barrage, and there’s no wasted time for the archers needing to wait for the command to fire.

And investment makes money, so snails with money can afford to pay more than the shell is worth as a “home”

If a shell were not allowed to be used as an “investment” the prices would go down substantially, even if they weren’t forced to be sold.

If they were forced to be sold, the prices would drop even further as all of a sudden there would be a flood of *people" trying to sell their shells to a limited number of slugs, who would then only choose the best deal for themselves.

The slugs may not have been able to be approved for a loan for a $500k shell but only for a $300k shell, but there were no $300k shells available and if they were, they were complete crapheaps In a bad neighbourhood so renting a shell was the more logical choice.

I think it has to do with some law where banks are required to cut all financial ties to any company that aids in the production, purchase or selling of CSAM and Sexual Trafficking content etc. so many businesses are wary of any website that provides adult content unless there is the strictest of moderation and verification procedures.

Which is one of the reasons many websites (tumbler, Reddit) are limiting NSFW content because they want to be able to have users buy things on their website but don’t want to moderate the content to the standards of the banks.

I’m not sure why they would go through all that effort. Would the branches cushion the fall and prevent the trunk from snapping or sintering on impact? And then they can remove the branches safely on the ground.

I mean, I get the purpose of the test but I’m pretty sure a human would crash too.

Plus there’s no one saying you can’t reduce reliance on specific countries like China. It is indeed dangerous to rely on any one country for too much. But if you spread it out to many countries and make sure to have some domestic supply for the most important things it would be fine.

At the moment Trump is targeting all countries, and many for no reason at all.

China also doesn’t want to interrupt trade, it benefits them just as much as America, that’s how. They won’t invade Taiwan if there’s a threat of war disrupting trade.

If you isolate the country from China too much then there is no benefit to China not invading. Globalization encourages peace because trade benefits all. Russia is suffering from all their sanctions now, they made a mistake thinking things would be over in a few days and people would get over it. Now they need to grit their teeth and pull through it. No one else wants to be Russia.

I don’t think there is any way to bring back those jobs. You guys are dreaming if you think you can just go back to an economy of the past.

The world has globalized, America can’t just pretend it hasn’t. Sure you can try and bring everything in house but by alienating allies there are lots of things you just can’t get yourselves like many raw materials, and then you need to worry about exporting to actually bring money into your economy not just move it around in circles.

Man, you would think someone would at least suggest going one at a time so you don’t lose the entire bus load of children at once if the pulley breaks.
