I think you may have missed a small but important part of the concept. I believe women also felt the LIKELIHOOD of a man being dangerous was higher than the bear’s, for all the reasons you stated.

If women had overall very favorable interactions with men they might choose the man in the woods because a bear is very unlikely to help her. So the man would be the obvious choice with such a low probability event. But to them, it isn’t low probability and that speaks volumes.

I saw this on Lenny about Jeeps. I asked someone sitting in a new Jeep if she got ads when she came to a stop and she said no. So now I wonder if there is something about the trim level or something. She said it was 1 year old. Maybe this just started.

Well the US collects taxes and a tariff is a tax so yeah, it will generate funds to run the government. I think this is why Trump likes them. He sees a huge influx in the taxes collected. Plus his followers are so stupid they think China/Canada/Mexico is paying them. Win/win for him. No wonder he thinks it’s the greatest word in the dictionary.
