Yeah, this is what I ended up doing. I’m surprised that the standard repository has such an old version! Completely removing that one and manually installing the latest version fixed my problems thankfully, minus a few visual glitches that weren’t there in Windows (Not too surprising)

One of the ways VPNs work is by having all your web traffic look like it’s coming from somewhere else, obscuring where you’re really from. They will see a different IP address than what yours actually is. If you were the only person doing this there would be no problem, but VPNs only have so many servers so companies often know what IP addresses those are. What they see is THOUSANDS of actions being taken by a single IP address, so of course it looks like bots! It makes total sense to have some verification to help against DDOS attacks and bad actors.
I built this rig ages ago, so definitely not that. I probably didn’t use enough when I upgraded my CPU last year so redoing it should fix it up
This is my project tomorrow. CPU temps have been much higher than normal, so new thermal paste should hopefully do the trick

Also a millennial. Wife and I got our condo right before everything shot up, got a nice 3.25% APR. Great mortgage honestly. But we’ve been trying to sell our condo for a YEAR now and I honestly think it’s the bubble holding back a sale. The condo is just too expensive for what it is (and the horrific rise of small community HOA fees has gotten way out of hand…). We’re priced right compared to others on the market, but selling condos is just stupid hard right now.
Sure I’d love it if we could sell now and get some nice profits from the sale, but I absolutely agree this bubble needs to pop!
I’ve been loving it for my homelab (just a bunch of docker containers, but learning a lot!). Figured it would be the easiest for me to slide into for a desktop experience since my homelab is headless
