I presume it’s because they want to believe their hero is still out there, and saying that their hero is probably gonna receive the death penalty bursts their fantasy bubble.

They would gain both but setting an example. As much as I wish the killer was still out there so people would have a folk hero to look up to in these trying times, I can’t deny that this is probably the same person.

Would love to try them if my phone, which was bought outright from Samsung themselves, allowed me to unlock the bootloader to allow me to try it. Might, if possible, try at least one of them on an old S10, if I can get the bootloader unlocked.

I totally wish I could install an actual Linux based (I don’t consider android Linux) distro on my current phone and also be able to install something like Waydroid with some sort of sandbox for it. Though I’m pretty sure my budget Samsung would fry itself if I tried doing that considering I can’t even unlock the bootloader without it freezing up indefinitely.

I’ve been playing it off and on since maybe 2016-18 (somewhere within that range), so a pretty long time for me, but Pokemon Rejuvenation.

If you don’t mind swearing, death, and generally kinda edgy stuff, it’s a fun enough game with a lot of content. 15 out of 18 badges (one per type) are currently available, with a very long story to go with it.

Just started over on my Steam Deck, making this my umpteenth time starting over, because I felt like it and wanted to do a grass only run, similar to my fire only run. Also, unlike just about every other RPGMaker XP fangame, the devs have a Linux version available, which has an appimage instead of the .exe file to run the game and have made a bash script to update the game to replace the .exe file for that. Wine not required to play at all!

Just for some of the quality of life features included, Sonic Mega Collection Plus. The gamecube version may have been my first foray into classic Sonic, but eh PS2 is in my opinion the better version if you’re a more casual player like me because savestates.

Also, I need to get onto actually playing them, but I recently got all 3 of the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games on PS2. I played enough on Dolphin that I knew I had to pick it up on PS2 (since I don’t have a gamecube). From the couple levels I played in the first game, definitely a fun game and one I personally have enjoyed.

Also, big shout-out to the only Star Wars Battlefront games I acknowledge existing.

If we’re talking strictly design, my personal favorite is a generic fat PS2, probably tied with my model 1(?) Sega Genesis (none of the things like 32x or CD, which I desperately want to get some day).

If we’re talking like PC with OS, the 90s Amiga lineup because I think the Amiga Workbench 3 line and the icons they used look absolutely beautiful. Definitely would love to get my hands on a 1200, but they’re expensive. So no getting into that hobby for me just yet.

If I could reach through my phone screen, I’d definitely let you borrow my game genie just to complete that lock on power tower.

It’s why the rare times I end up going in my college club instructors EV I tend to stay fairly quiet. Quieter than normal.

Was gonna ask what’s wrong with Systemd but decided to look it up and I now see why, at least from what I was reading.

I can pretty much guarantee you could steal the authentic Mona Lisa, take it to Pawn Stars, and they’d give you 20¢ because “ThEy’Re TaKiNg A rIsK bUyInG tHaT” just to rip off customers who don’t know any better.
