Are we pretending that the Tech Giants They Work For actually gave a flying fuck about their welfare in the first place?
They care. They are like: “guys! Our yoy slave burn rate is through the roof! What do we do to increase our margins?”
Someone talks about kids. Someone about prisoners. Someone lobbies to reduce taxes.
Always the same shit.
Remember when farm owners influenced Trump to say there would be carve-outs for undocumented farm workers, but there was an intence MAGA backlash? Woner if we will see something similar here when delivery companies have to pay more for delivery workers.
The difference is that these companies and their delivery workers aren’t necessary for the economy at all.
Farmers are actually necessary as a fundamental foundation. Regardless of the MAGA delusion machine, reality does actually matter sometimes.
Makes my blood boil. Am I shocked? No. But I’m still very angry. Just yet another reason to boycott.
