    They shouldn’t have fees. We’re only getting closer to a cashless society and there is no way your boss will agree to pay you in cash (well, depends on your field of expertise i guess). If we put the only alternative to using digital money behind a paywall we will surely end up with a monopoly with high fees.

    Payment network should be part of national infrastructure

    I get why us likes visa and master card, I don’t understand how any other regime would allow this grift

    Even better, abolish all “transaction fees”, enforce a flat percentage rate only on purchases, no per transaction amount.

    Means spending with your card is no more expensive than with cash. Where I work, we don’t accept cash and it has made the end of day so much faster when you don’t have to count cash (and find mistakes etc)
