I’m in Ohio and my German is meh but I can understand 65%ish of what I see. It helps I lived in Duesseldorf for a year, but that was over 35 years ago so it doesn’t help enough.

synnejysk eller sønderjysk (syd-jysk), er en dialekt fra det sydlige Jylland der kan være en smule svært at forstå for os der tale rigsdansk, men til gengæld kan folk fra områderne syd for grænsen, både Tyskland og Holland også godt forstå det en smule.
