@nostupidquestions Why do bugfixing mods like unofficial skyrim patch and circle of eight modpack opinionated rather than unintrusive with their changes. Like it’s not simply bugfixes anymore, is it?
Are most bugfixing mods like this? Why do they end up like this if so? They seem to make seemingly random opinionated changes that’re seemingly unrelated to bugfixing.

@Blumpkinhead idk. Just random unnecessary changes that’s out there that make me think the modmakers were just randomly peeved players were allowed two rooms instead of one. Don’t think that was a bug nor necessitate fixing. Can’t really define it though and I barely remember the skyrim patch. I’m far from a purist and I don’t think the random youtube video and blogs I watched who also think the same are purists also.

Have you ever heard of giving examples? You are not clear whatsoever in what you are saying here OP.
Without examples, many people are going to assume that you dislike a change for a bad reason or that you don’t actually have examples.
I’m not even sure I understand your question in the first place. What’s your problem with bug fixing mods?
I don’t have any experience with any of these mods so I can’t say OPs exact grievances, but it seems like he’s saying that some of these mods do extra stuff on top of fixing bugs that he doesn’t like
Uh okay well I don’t think I’ve seen anything in any TES unofficial patch that did anything beyond the scope of what’s expected in vanilla gameplay.
