1 day agoYes but back then most people only bought maybe 2-3 games the entire generation and traded with their friends. There was also a lot of local coop games.
Now people would like to play dozens of games and it’s difficult to share, often you even need to buy two copies of a game to even play with your family in the same house.
Interesting do you have a source for this? I would like to learn more about the history. If not that’s ok I can try to search for it.
