I’ve never been handsome, and I’ve never had a problem dating. Even when i was in high school and was awkward as fuck.

I grew up on a small town, and everyone talked to everyone. So i never had an issue.

Lemmy seems to have more social outcasts than even Reddit.

I’ve never understood how/why so many guys on Lemmy (and reddit) are so scared of women.

I have no problems dating, and I’m poor as fuck and have a face like a foot.

After reading the responses in this thread, I think it’s all just a bunch of bullshit excuses you all are making up.

So if he stopped, then why did they ban him thinking he was me? And in OP’s post, the example says it’s a word-for-word copy of one of my comments. But I don’t have any comments that say that.

So I’m still not even sure why he was banned. Plus, he’s still posting, so it wasn’t an instance ban.

So if I stole someone’s username, then maybe people should be careful of what they say about users, since ya never know who the user is. So was the DJM dude fake too? Did he get banned for being DJM or for being me? But if I’m, as you say, I’m not the real Universal Monk, then what does that mean for Lemmy?

Nah, even if the mod was wrong about why they banned DJM, Lemmy is a better place because of it.

But they banned him because they thought he was me. Not for what he said. That’s not a good thing.
