The thing that makes it ugly (a lack of consistent geometry and inconsistent line weights) is exactly what makes it harder for someone’s brain to swap or misinterpret letters. I love pretty fonts and pretty UI, but if I had to pick between a pretty UI and being able to read, it’s not exactly a hard choice. Gimme the ugly thing that helps my brain actually read 🤷♂️
