We held elections in the middle of the Civil War and made sure soldiers could vote. If Lincoln could do it then, we can do it now. I’ll fight to make sure we have elections, and I hope others do the same.

I guess that makes sense. I have a very firm feeling he is going to intentionally provoke a war against China. That war might already be brewing but he is much more likely to take us into it than almost anyone else.
That’s interesting. When I was reading the Constitution, I didn’t read it the same way. I thought that the basic rules (age, citizenship, etc.) were what applied since obtaining office and serving office were distinct in my mind. I like your reading better but I have a feeling SCOTUS wouldn’t read it the same way you do.
I understand one tactic is for him to serve as VP under someone else who promises to resign to allow Trump to serve again but he keeps saying there’s also other options.
WHAT OTHER OPTIONS IS HE TALKING ABOUT?
Is your employer matching some percentage of what you add to your 401k?
Where is her husband?
The only one I trust is Briar.
I agree, this is bad logic. That said, that’s not what I hear from the current regime when I hear them talking about tariffs. What I hear is them thinking this will force countries to lower barriers to Americans doing business abroad. Once those barriers are lowered, tariffs are reduced or go away altogether. For the record, I do not think this is good policy, but the intent of the policy (at lease as I read it) isn’t to suddenly move all manufacturing back to the United States.
