You can’t. This is why Apple developed AirDrop. It’s much better than simple. Bluetooth file exchange, however, it was pretty stupid of Apple to also disable Bluetooth file exchange, which used to work just fine on iOS devices until AirDrop came around.

It being an intentional choice doesn’t make it not a stupid choice.
No, it was clever from a business decision. Unethical, but strategic. ‘Stupid’ would imply it was a mistake, or not considered properly.
Should also be noted that macOS does support Bluetooth File Transfer natively, so they did already implement it elsewhere.
