    The second layer of the joke is that the teacher is speaking fine. Despite also being a horse. Maybe that’s the first layer. I don’t know.

      Probably already know but Clever Hans was genius but not at math. He was reading body language. At least the theory goes. The person asking would subtly indicate and would possibly be unaware. When blindfolded he would just keep stomping repeatedly
