I’m way under 50 but I’ll be wearing shorts until October or November! My legs don’t feel the cold as much as the rest of my body and it’s just more comfortable than wearing trousers.

Yep! Although it’s usually teenagers that wear them in totally absurd conditions.
They think it’s something to be respected to suffer for cool or what is going on.

Each to their own. I think “British Blu” (That shade of white and blue on bare brit legs in November) is a 'ard colour.
I wonder if it’s a style thing, or for hiding things that a roadman might need.
