The old testament in Christianity is just the Torah of the Jewish faith.

I’d argue they’re just as separated from Christians as Christians are from Jews.Mormons have 3 extra books, actually. The book of Mormon, The book of Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price.
You won’t get disagreement from me. Being non-trinitarian is a pretty huge departure from regular Christianity on its own, without all the rest of their weird mythology.
