With all due respect, I think your personal bias is entirely coloring your opinion here. Most people have at least an amicable relationship with their parents as adults, generally much closer than that. Just because you have a bad one doesn’t mean people shouldn’t have kids.
In fact we need more kids, especially when raised by progressive people, because the fascists are having them too.
To be fair, i don’t think I’d consider sütterlin to be traditional only roughly 20 years after its creation. To day it is of course, but back then?
Because men and women have different body shapes. A small man and woman may need the same size but certainly not the same cut.

I don’t “decide” on what others have to wear, the point is if you wear anime girl hoodies people will think you’re a massive weeb. If you dont like that, don’t wear that hoodie outside.
See the second half of my comment. Thats totally valid, you do you and whatever else you feel like expresses yourself, but that also gives people the freedom to judge you for how you present yourself. That is the whole point of appearances, evoking images and associations in other people’s minds.
I’d say it is less about not letting them enjoy their interest and more about wearing anime girls on their clothes. That just isn’t appropriate outside of maybe conventions and your own home, at least it is not perceived that way by most people.
Now you could argue that one shouldn’t give a fuck about what anyone thinks, and that’s valid, but misses the point.

They do it because “protect the children” is an easy sale, everyone falls in line because nobody wants to be against something “for the children”. Also the reason why the horse gets beaten over every internet censorship attempt.
It doesn’t matter to me whether the man or woman has the job, what matters to me is that one working person could support a family, kids, owning a home, some vacations and still had enough money to save up and be generally not very concerned with finances.
